Honestly, this was so cute. I absolutely love Remus Lupin and getting shipped with him is one of my favorite things. You wrote it all very well and I’m so touched with it because it was honestly so cute and I can completely picture it!

Sirius Black had become the bane of your existence.
Over the last two weeks he had not stopped bugging you, his friends James and Peter laughing along with him when you’d snap back, Remus was much too kind to do anything but quirk a smile and send you sympathetic looks.
You hadn’t know what you’d done to get under his radar but the Gryffindor rebel was getting more ridiculous as the days went on.
He wasn’t doing anything mean, like pranking you, no, it was far more embarrassing. He was asking you to Hogsmeade, much in the same fashion that James would constantly be asking Lily.
It was getting more and more embarrassing as the days hurried along to the first trip into Hogsmeade.
At first, it had been much simpler, he’d leaned across the table you’d commandeered in the library and smirked at you, his hair falling around his face in an ironically angelic nature. You’d simply rose a brow at him in question which only made his smirk grow larger as he flirted his way into asking you to Hogsmeade. The way his smirk never left had made you sure that he assumed you wouldn’t turn him down.
It wasn’t a challenge you were going to lose.
You’d politely declined and left the library.
For the next few days it went like that, flirt, ask, decline, leave.
His next round of attempts came in the form of flying notes, sometimes a flower or two, chocolate, and even an owl delivering the request over breakfast. You tried hard not to feel flattered or embarrassed as your friends tried to ask you about them.
It only escalated in very Marauderish fashion.
Howlers, singing parchment, an actual mini fireworks display, and a couple of harmless pranks that were more amusing than harmful. You could feel yourself giving in as the trip drew closer and you thought, perhaps Sirius knew as well.
He’d stopped prefacing his asking you with compliments and flirting, most of the time just saddling up beside you as you walked down corridors.
“Hogsmeade.” You wouldn’t even look up at him before humming out a “nope” and continuing on your way.
The trip out of Hogwarts was just around the corner when /it/ happened.
You were walking down one of the halls, heading towards the shorter stairwells when someone jostled you from behind and you let out a small cry as you feel forwards, eyes closing.
You expected to hit the stairs and descend painfully, you expected to feel a hard impact. You hadn’t expected arms around your middle, a hard exhale against your mouth, and warm lips against yours.
The unsuspecting kiss made your eyes flutter open as the mouth drew back. Sirius. He looked just as surprised as you before he was looking behind your shoulder to two shocked looking first years.
“Watch where the bloody hell you’re going!” He shouted, angry. The two turned pale and hurried away throwing quick apologize as they went.
Sirius looked down at you, your body still pressed against his, yours eyes still wide as you felt the phantom touch of his lips against your. Sirius pulled away slights, hands still on your waist to make sure that you were stable on the steps.
“You alright?” He asked, voice concerned as he looked you over. You nodded once, cheeks finally turning red as you pulled your hands away from his chest fast. Once he was sure you were alright he let a smirk fall to his face.
You felt a small spike of irritated amusement.
“So, now that I’ve effectively saved your life, Hogsmeade?” You rolled your eyes before taking a step down the stairs and passing him. You saw a flash of disappointment as you moved past him. Your own smirk quirked up one of the corners of your mouth.
“Sure. Meet me out front by noon.” You didn’t need to turn around to know he was smiling wide at you. The little “whoop” sound he made was assurance enough.
